Update Almost 15 wks

I forgot to add the sizes of the babies in the last post.  You can see the sizes (cm) at the bottom of the sonograms but they are hard to read.   Each baby is right at 8cm or 3 inches...close to the size of a peach.   That would explain the size of my belly. :)

Also, I rescheduled the 18 week sonogram/scan of the babies with Dr. Koster in Dallas.  YAY !  It will be one week earlier on Thursday, Oct. 21.  I will know the gender of each baby in 4 weeks.  I can hardly WAIT !

14 week appt

The appointment today was great.  Dr. Mason measured my cervix and it looked perfect.... just like its supposed to.  We heard all three babies' heartbeats and got measurements for each.

 Baby A-measuring 14w2d;

Laying on back

Baby B- measuring 14w1d;

Baby C-measuring 13w6d
Upside down

My prediction remains the same: 2 boys and 1 girl.  We may find out gender in 2 weeks at my 16 week appt.   I am still exhausted but no nausea. :)  I am gaining about 2 pounds per week... but I guess I am on the right track.

All three babies:

2 heads (left and middle); 1 booty (right side)

Hannah Update

We went to homecoming this past Friday.  Tigers didn't win but we had a wonderful time.  Hannah loved the Tiger Dolls, cheerleaders, majorettes, Kilgore's feature twirler, and the band.

We are headed to San Antonio for 3 days to celebrate Lucile's 99th birthday with Carol, Katie, Jaclyn, Ava, and George.   I am looking forward to mexican food, shopping, visiting, and a weekend away.  We have a great babysitter in SA that helps with the kiddos so the adults can enjoy a nice dinner on Saturday night.

12 Week Sonogram

I am still feeling great.  I don't feel like I could run a marathon but I could walk a mile or so, which is a great feeling.  I am still super exhausted in the afternoon and again around 9pm.  The nausea has almost gone away 100%.
OK--so heres what we found out at the 12 week sono with Dr. Mason.  All three babies look great and are measuring close to 12 weeks.

Here are the measurments and hearbeats: Baby A- 12 weeks 3 days, heartbeat-136; Baby B-12 weeks, heartbeat 150; Baby C - 11 weeks 5 days, heartbeat 158 (turning flips).   So...our  predicition- Baby A is a big o' boy; Baby B- probably another big boy, and my petite little Baby C might be another wild Hannah.  :)

I am scheduled to see Dr. Mason every two weeks.  Next appt. he will measure my cervix.  I will have a sonogram every appt.  YAY !  In four weeks, I might know the gender of a few of these little monkeys.  My next Dallas appt. with Dr. Koster, perinatologist, is Oct 28.  It will be a 2 hour sono where she will measure and scan each baby.  I will FOR SURE know the sex by the end of Oct. of ALL three babies.

Kindergarten update-Hannah has not been in trouble again.  She still tempts Mrs. Fite, I am sure of it, but no popsicle sticks.  Yesterday was Grandparents' lunch day.  Papaw and I took lunch, talked to her friends, and watched her play at recess.
 Hannah is SUPER EXCITED about riding the school bus to the fair day field trip.  It is AMAZING how much she LOVES school buses.   Also, Hannah is still loving ACE Cheer team and tumbling.  She will perform, yes her first debut, at the Titus County Fair Oct. 2nd.  I can hardly wait...to see what I am paying for.  :)  She will look cute in that outfit even if she only stands there and smiles.

We r going on our first weekend trip this weekend since we found out we are having multiples.  I guess we figured out that I will not 'break' if I just take it easy.  So...to Hot Springs it is.  Can't think of a better weekend trip than to see the Carsons.   Not much on the agenda but play, shop, visit, and eat...perfect weekend.  Even the dog gets to go.  :)

We were very impressed with Dr, Mason's sonogram skills. :)   I should have another sonogram picture on Thurs. Sept. 9, 2010.

Hannah and the popsicle stick

    So... Hannah came home yesterday and told me that she got a popsicle stick at school.  Since Hannah is very thorough with details of her school day EACH DAY, I knew exactly what the blue popsicle stick meant.   It is similar to getting your name placed on the chalkboard for doing something bad.  She tells me each day who got in trouble and who got the popsicle sticks.  Well, yesterday, she got a blue popsicle stick...and chose to tell me about it.  (She also told papaw but he thought it was a good thing. :)
     Of course, I asked the reason for the blue popsicle stick.  She said she pinched D'Travies bc he wouldnt scoot over on the storybook rug.  Immediately, the TV went off and she was grounded from TV for the night (until daddy came home then he would have to hear about the popsicle stick.)  When daddy got home, I told him that Hannah had pinched D'Travies and got her first popsicle stick.  He gave her one lick with the paddle and agreed to grounding her from TV for the night.  He also equated her with Caden, "the bad boy," that gets popsicle sticks every day.  That just broke her heart.  So...I am sure today, at least, we will come home with a good report and no popsicle sticks.

11 weeks

  I am now 11 weeks and I finally feel  like a normal human being.   I am still so exhausted but I can handle it.  The nausea is for the birds.  I do not have another Dr. visit until next Thursday, Sept.9,2010.  I always feel like it is "hurry up and wait."  It is so comforting to see these babies on the sonogram and hear their heartbeats pounding.   At my last Dr. visit in Dallas with Dr. Koster, she noticed that one heartbeat was faster than the other two.  She jokingly stated that was my 'girl.'  :)   We should find out the sexes of all three babies at the end of September.  I can't wait !!!
Yesterday, I thought it was interesting to compare the size of my belly during this pregnancy with the size of my belly with Hannah.  Here goes...
11 weeks with triplets
19 weeks with Hannah
